Finally free!

I was so sick of my long dead, dry, and damaged hair so I cut it off. Don't you just love the feeling of fresh cut hair. So healthy, so free!

She is still not so sure about that big black ghost laying down on the ground that follows her wherever she goes. At first she hated it and got really scared. When she saw it she would cry for me to pick her up and she wouldn't move. Now she waves at it.

Nice day for a "pop pop"

It's 94 degrees out today. Lately the boys have been downing the otter pops, and Gwen soon learned they were her favorite food. If you can call that food. So we got a little healthier ones for her. She still calls them "pop pop". What a perfect treat to have on a hot day like today!

Irvine Regional Park

What a great quick location for some fun with the family. We went to the zoo, walked around the lake and fed the ducks, played at the park and rode the train. It was a fun afternoon.

Egg hunt #3

Above is the egg hunt area. What a perfect place to hide eggs. Mike and Stuart did such a good job hiding the eggs that we had to leave behind 6 or 7 eggs.

This year we finally had the whole family for Easter, so I made the boys participate in an egg hunt despite their age. We were invited over to our dear friends the Cronin's for a yummy Easter morning breakfast and then an egg hunt. This made the boys okay with the hunt, the fact that their friends were doing it with them.

Easter, Easter, Easter!!!

With so many scheduling conflicts around Easter I was afraid I wasn't going to get to any of the egg hunts around town, but ended up getting to 3 of them. This is the one in Ladera. She would have nothing to do with the Easter bunnies, but she loved collecting her loot.

Soccer, Soccer, Soccer!

Well, another soccer season is yet upon us. Damon and Brandon are playing on a select team in Rancho Santa Margarita called "Mayhem" and have won two of two so far. Gwen loves her own little chair which is good because she will get a lot of use out of it this season. More updates on soccer to come.

Grandpa's oranges!!!

Yummy! Grandpa has the most amazing orange trees. The most juicy and sweet oranges you've ever had. Gwen can't get enough of them. We can eat them by the bucket loads. Thanks Grandpa Jarman!

A walk on the beach

We visited the beach on Martin Luther day. We went for a walk on the beach and got to see where Stuart lived for a while. He lived with his Dad at a little place a couple feet off the sand at Victoria Beach. It was beautiful. Gwen took her second ride in the Kelty kids back pack. She loves being up so high. The boys had fun exploring the rocks and watching the big waves crash on the rocks. We saw a herd of dolphins right off the shore and they were even jumping out of the water. The funnest part for me was watching Gwen play in the sand. She wasn't sure what to make of it. Especially when it wouldn't come off.

Photography practice

My little Gwen is the subject of my practice. I went to a photography workshop today and learned some new things. Now I have to put them into practice. Wow, there is soooo much to know. I hope my kids don't get sick of me taking pictures of them. I love her little flippy hairdo!!!

Happy Birthday Gwen!!!

My little Gwenie is turning 1 today. I can't believe how fast the time has gone by. Here is a picture of her on her birthday. Tune in later for her one year later picture. We are having the family over tonight for her first birthday. See you later.

Area Semi Finalist

The None's came in 3rd place in the area playoffs. They played a great season. Now we are on to All Stars, which all three of the boys made, and then to Spring soccer. Sometimes it feels like it never ends. But, that is okay because I love watching them play!!!
