Oh yes, it isn't the Jarman 4th of July without popcorn balls and homemade ice cream a game of softball.
This is Miss Jill. She is great with the first timer Gwen. Gwen is 3 and 1/2 years old and she hates water on her face, however she is doing very well. Willing to go under water. Loves her swim lessons, looks forward to them and does everything Miss Jill asks her to do. Gwen is on her way to being a good swimmer.

On June 24th 2011 Stuart and I took Gwen to get away for a short weekend to the cabin. We love going there. We hung out, played games, went to Big Bear lake, the zoo. 
Gwen went to Albertsons and decorated a cake for daddy and for Grandpa Jarman. What a great activity for her, she loved it but couldn't keep her fingers from "accidentally" getting in the frosting...lick lick!
My sisters and I took my dad out to seafood at Kings Fish house. My mom hates seafood and my dad loves it, so he never gets it at home. 
Stuart and I had the very fun opportunity to go and see Neon Trees at the taping of The Jay Leno Show on June 10th 2011. The guests were Bill Cosby, Bruce and Kris Jenner, and Neon Trees. I love how they introduce the band as a Billboard Music Award winner for Best Alternative Song. We got to go backstage and chat with Chris before and after the show in the Green Room. Thank you Aunt Sylvia, Uncle Brian, and Chris for the invite. Nice to meet you Danielle.
The traffic on the way home through LA was horrible so we got off the 110 at the Galen Center and ate at The Lab Gastropub. The chicken sandwich on the pretzel bun and the caprese salad were amazing. Great way to waste time waiting for traffic to subside.
We also borrowed my dad's Mercedes to drive up to Burbank. It was kind of fun to pull up to park in the NBC studio lot in that car. 
Stuart made homemade tamales the other night for the first time and they were very good. Pork, chicken, and some sweet ones, some with pineapple, pecans, brown sugar and cinnamon. Yummy! They were very moist!
This was my last day hosting playgroup this year. This has been so wonderful for Gwen. Having 6 little friends, all girls, to share her house and toys with was both challenging and fun!
Gwen went to a friends bday party at Zoomars and had a blast. Her favorite was riding the horse!
