Happy Birthday Gwen!!!

My little Gwenie is turning 1 today. I can't believe how fast the time has gone by. Here is a picture of her on her birthday. Tune in later for her one year later picture. We are having the family over tonight for her first birthday. See you later.

Area Semi Finalist

The None's came in 3rd place in the area playoffs. They played a great season. Now we are on to All Stars, which all three of the boys made, and then to Spring soccer. Sometimes it feels like it never ends. But, that is okay because I love watching them play!!!

The None's are the CHAMPIONS!!!

Stuart Boys under 14 Champions. Stuart has coached many years and has always got his team into the playoffs but never this far. Last night "The None's" won the championship game and came in first in their division. Now they will go on to play in area playoffs. Now, I'll explain the team name. On their first game the ref asked the team what their team name was and they said they didn't have one because they hadn't thought of one yet. So he said, so you're the none's. And it stuck. They play their next games the weekend of December 6th. See you then!

Happy 11 month b-day

Gwen is growing up too fast!

Well, It's official! She is walking. She took her first step at around 9 1/2 months but would only try walking once a day. It was easier to crawl to get where she wanted to go but now she walks more than she crawls and she is a week shy of 11 months. I wish she would stop growing up so fast. I want her to stay a baby forever.

Liliana Rose Gonzalez

Well, Here she is. Our new little girl in the family. Lori gave birth to Liliana Rose Gonzalez on November 4th 2008. My niece and Damon's cousin. We are so excited for Bo and Lori and can't wait to see what adventures Gwen and Lili will have growing up together.

Halloween 2008

Halloween was great this year. For Gwen it was her first. Here she is the cutest Ladybug in the world. We all dressed up for our ward's Trunk or Treat. Brandon as Elvis, Nathan a hippie, Damon a clown, Stuart the cowardly lion, and me as Dorothy. Thanks Sarah for loaning us the costumes. Yes, we took Gwen trick or treating with some neighbor friends and she got all of three candies. Too young but I wanted to have the experience. It was fun!

South Coast Farms Pumpkin Patch!

Paulette and I took Gwen to the pumpkin patch to get some pictures. The first time we visited a pumpkin patch she was afraid of the pumpkins and would not go near them. So for a few days I would have her get closer and closer to one that we had at home until she was finally pounding on it. She even points to it in passing because she wants to touch it. Today she loved getting down on the hay covered ground in bare feet to pound on the pumpkins like a drum. We had a great time watching her ooohh and aaawe at them. What a doll!!!

Soccer season 2008

Brandon and Damon are on the same team again this year with Stuart coaching. They are awesome this year and are surely heading to playoffs. Nathan is also doing really well this season. He scores at least one goal in almost every game! Then there is Gwen,...their number one supporter. She goes to every game even if it is raining! We love soccer season. I love watching the boys make progress in their game and skills on the field.

9 months old!

I can't believe 9 months with my little Gwenie has come and gone. She is so much fun to have. Little Gwen has showed the softer side of these boys here. They are sure going to be good daddy's one day.

What is summer without a little hose play?

We frequently eat dinner out on our front porch to escape the heat in our house, you know, trying to save money not turning on the AC. We usually put Gwen in her exersaucer while we eat but this night she was particularly fussy. Dad always has a unique way of calming her down or keeping her entertained. He is always trying new things. This time I came out with my dinner to find my little Gwenie getting soaked in her clothes on the ground with the hose. At first, I was griping about her on the dirty ground, then about her being in her clothes, but after I saw how much fun she was having, I couldn't gripe anymore. This kid is fearless. She had a blast. It kept her busy with fun the whole dinner and then some.

The Great Park

The Great Park Balloon. We went up in this hot air balloon as a family. Yes, even Gwen! About 300ft in the air tethered to a cable. It normally goes just above 400ft but we had to stay lower because of the winds, fine by me. The best part about the whole thing was that it was FREE!

Swing Time!!!

Gwen is 7 1/2 months old now. She loves being outside. We go for walks almost everyday. One day we stopped by the park and put her in the baby swing and she loved it. I just can't get enough of that smile!
