Yosemite National Park

This summer in August we went to Yosemite with Grandma Duffy and Uncle Jess & Aunt Sarah. What a beautiful place to visit. Now I know why it is so hard to get reservations there. It is the perfect camping experience, with plenty of wildlife, gorgeous scenery, perfect weather, gently floating down the Merced river, and good old campfire cooking! The most memorable for me was being able to hop on your bike and ride to just about all the attractions on the valley floor. The best bike ride though was after we put Gwen down for the night, (thanks Grandma for watching her) Stuart and I went for a night bike ride. It was exciting riding through the dark knowing that there was wildlife just to the right or left of you in the meadows. At one point we stopped on the side of the rode with no one around and saw two eyes looking at us out from the meadow. It was then that grabbed Stuart from behind growling at him scaring the tar out of him. Good Times!!! On our way back to camp the stars above half dome were amazing! If you have never been, I highly recommend it!
