Beck Family 7. Stuart and Keri have been married 10 years and counting. We have 4 boys and a daughter. Brandon(17), Damon(17), Nathan(15), and Gwen(4), Cannon (2 months). Residing in South Orange County.
What a fun party. Renting a BMX track,...yes I even got in on it and had a great time. Stuart was laughing at me the whole time because I was screaming. I thought I was going super fast but to the spectators, I wasn't. At least I tried and so did my sis Amy. He did say that I had good form:)
Well after making the frosh soph team his Freshman year and after no previous volleyball experience, Damon moved on up to JV for a couple of games then on up to Varsity where he joined them half way through the season. He is so excited to have lettered his Freshman year,...a jacket to put your letter on...got money!!!
Yep, they are 15 years old now, taller than me and where the same size shoe as dad if not bigger. If you ever want a loud fun place to celebrate your birthday then Farrels is the place for you. Fun games, like pie eating contest, fireworks coming out of dessert, and ice cream galore.
Brandon has been competing for the first time with the pole vault in track at Mission. It's a crazy sport when you really stop and think about what they are doing. I just hope he doesn't get hurt.
Damon loves volleyball. He never played on a team, just played for fun sometimes with friends but they convinced him to go out for the team. He made it and is having so much fun! Volleyball sure is fun to watch also. Lots of excitement and no down time. He is doing very well. He sure can jump for being one of the shorter ones.
I always knew I wanted to go back to nursing but wasn't quite ready for it yet. This economy has forced me to go back early. It took me a good 3-4 months of daily searching for a job. I always thought I could easily find a job with such talk about a "nursing shortage" but not now. These days new grads are lucky to find an internship. People like me, stay at home moms, have come back to nursing and have snatched up any available job. I sure am lucky to have found one in a hospital. I am working for Mission Hospital Laguna Beach on the medical surgical telemetry floor. I love getting my hands back on needles, IV's, and port-a-caths, but I don't love the 12 hour shifts. Boy what a view though. We are right on Pacific Coast Highway overlooking the beach.
Brandon playing goalie for Mission Viejo High School frosh/soph.
Damon playing midfield/forward for San Juan Hills High School frosh/soph. Now the boys are on to other sports as they finish out their Freshman year. Brandon is on the track team doing the pole vault and Damon is on the frosh soph volleyball team. Nathan started flag football. More pictures to come.
